Te tūranga – The role

Your role has an important impact through the delivery of transparency and accountability that enhance RBNZ’s reputation and help us deliver on our priorities.

As Accountability Advisor, you will:

  • Lead the development and publication of the RBNZ’s accountability documents (e.g., Statement of Performance Expectations),

  • Partner with the Strategy & Insights team to implement organisational strategy through our accountability documents and processes,

  • Coordinate with teams across the RBNZ to report to external stakeholders on our progress against organisational objectives, desired impacts and outcomes,

  • Build and maintain effective relationships with external stakeholders.

We are looking for a motivated, collaborative team member who can work effectively under pressure, manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.

Experience or technical knowledge of one or more of the following areas is desirable but not essential:

  • Public sector planning and performance frameworks;

  • Accountability documents;

  • Climate disclosure.

To be successful in this role you will bring:

  • A demonstrated ability to deliver high‑quality outcomes;

  • Proven experience collaborating with and influencing internal and external stakeholders;

  • An interest in New Zealand’s political economy and/or regulatory environment.
