Join Microsoft’s Manufacturing Industry ATU to help some of the world’s leading manufacturers accelerate their AI and digital transformation journeys. As an Account Technology Strategist (ATS), you will serve as a trusted advisor to CIOs, CTOs, CDOs, and business leaders, aligning technology investments with strategic business outcomes. You will bring deep manufacturing industry expertise and a understanding of challenges and opportunities across engineering, operations, supply chain, smart factories, and workforce transformation. Leveraging end-to-end knowledge across AI, Data & Analytics, Security, Business Applications, Modern Work, and Azure Infrastructure, you will shape and execute transformative technology strategies. Working closely with Account Executives, solution specialists, partners, and engineering teams, you will lead executive engagements and create industry-specific innovation roadmaps. Responsibilities

  • You will lead strategic technology engagements with some of the largest manufacturing customers, helping them define and execute their AI and digital transformation vision.
  • You will build trusted advisor relationships with CIOs, CTOs, CDOs, and business leaders, translating business priorities into technology roadmaps and measurable business outcomes.
  • You will drive executive conversations across AI, Data & Analytics, Security, Business Applications, Modern Work, and Azure, showcasing how Microsoft’s end-to-end portfolio can accelerate innovation and growth.
  • Leveraging deep manufacturing industry expertise, you will identify opportunities across engineering, operations, supply chain, smart factory, and sustainability initiatives, aligning technology investments with industry-specific challenges and opportunities.
  • Working closely with Account Executives, Solution Specialists, Partners, and Engineering teams, you will orchestrate cross-functional teams to deliver transformational customer outcomes and business growth.
  • You will act as a thought leader in the manufacturing sector, helping customers adopt emerging technologies, accelerate AI transformation, and realize the full value of their digital investments.



Qualifications

Required/ Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business or related field AND 10+ years of extensive technology consulting, solution selling, or digital transformation experience, combined with a track record of delivering business outcomes for enterprise customers, or related technical/sales experience

    • OR equivalent experience

  • Deep expertise in the manufacturing industry and understanding key trends across engineering, operations, supply chain, smart factory, and industrial AI.Demonstrated end-to-end technology knowledge spanning AI, Data & Analytics, Cloud Infrastructure, Security, Business Applications, and Modern Work solutions
  • Experience in engaging and influencing C-level executives, translating business strategy into technology roadmaps, and leading complex transformation initiatives
