Job Description

Account Supervisor 
The Account Supervisor (AS) is the day-to-day brand and client champion, demonstrating strong ownership of the brand keeping the focus on executional success. An AS manages h is/her business including the supervision of the account team and lateral supervision of creative par tners. An AS may have subordinate(s) for whom he/she is respo nsible.  
What we expect from you  
Project Development  

Masters tactical planning and implementation, including day-to-day management of timelines from start through release of each  tactic  
Creation and ownership of tactical briefs and estimates, with supervisor sign off  
Ensures all creative and tactics developed support the brand and custom er objectives  
Continually seeks brand building opportunities/ways to overcome obstacles 

Participates and organizes market research, including partial ownership of associated output and strategic findings  
Participates in development of a strategic communications plan with alignment between issues, strategies, and tactics  
Leads creative and account teams in the development of breakthrough cr eative to ensure high quality agency output, reflective of consistently superior creativ e product  
Champions the creative product with creative partners  
Provides appropriate supervision to his/her direct reports  
Works with team to ensure all work is delivered on time and accurately  
Client Relations  
Maintains key client contact and ensures the client is kept apprised of the s tatus of all jobs and ongoing progress  
Attends client meetings/conventions/market research and handles timely follow-up  
Ownership of daily and/or weekly client status reports  
Creation and dissemination of client contact repo rts  
Delivers recommendations for programs, big ideas, and incremental income, and seeks opportunities to continually strengthen quality of client relations  
Acts as liaison between client and internal team, providing timely feedback be tween Agency and Client  
Financial  

Oversees daily financial health of all client work (estimates, jobs, fees, billing, cli ent vendor trackers and other items) within the guidelines of the client’s budgets and  Agency processes  

Collaborates proactively with clients and internal team to manage per job finan cials against project briefs and timelines  
Prepares forecasts with supervisor  
Ensure per job revenue is recognized based on project assumptions and rev enue forecasts  
Ensures timeliness of client approvals, receipt of PO, transfers and write-offs as appropriate per client and agency processes  
Proactively identifies opportunities to realize incremental income based on scope changes  
Team Building/Leadership  

Works with supervisor on strategic options, copy strategy, and creative i nnovation  
Provides clear direction and establishes expectations for subordinates and cross-functional agency team  
Delegates tasks to subordinates, cross-functional team members and/or superiors, as appropriate, while ensuring quality meets agency standards  
Evaluates performance of account team members and makes developmental recommendation s  
Background/experience and skills  
Bachelor’s degree  
4-6 years in account services at a healthcare communications/advertising agency, consulting firm or similar experienc e  
Background in communications, managed markets and/or science preferred  
Computer programs : Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of tools (Word, Excel, Po werPoint)
