Job Description

The Account Specialist – Titles will support the business by ensuring our interest is perfected in titled equipment, aircraft, and mortgages. This position works closely with all areas of the business along with external vendors, dealers, and customers. Experience in title processing or lien perfection is highly desirable; however, candidates with strong attention to detail and the ability to learn quickly will be considered

Responsibilities

  • Provide title guidance to customers/dealers.
  • Follow for the status of title/lien perfection for motor vehicles.
  • Work with various state DMV’s to convert paper titles to electronic.
  • Set-up and manage paper or electronic filing systems, recording information, updating paperwork, or maintaining documents or other material.
  • Provide additional operations administration support, as required.

Requirements

Skills/Experience/Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
  • 1-2 years equivalent work experience in business operations role in a fast-paced organization
  • Experience in title processing or lien perfection is highly desirable; however, candidate with strong attention to detail and the ability to learn quickly will be considered

  • Contributes to team projects, exchanges ideas, and opinions helps prevent and resolve conflict, works with other departments effectively, and develops positive working relationships.
  • Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe.

Essential Mental & Physical Requirements

  • Ability to travel if required to perform the essential job functions.
  • Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to read and interpret a document if required to perform the essential job functions.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer may be required.
  • Ability to lift/move/carry approximately 15 pounds if required to perform the essential job functions. If the employee is unable to lift/move/carry this weight and can be accommodated without causing the department/division any “undue hardship” then the employee must be accommodated; hence omitting lifting/moving/carrying as a physical requirement.
