Job Description

The Account Representative manages specific job functions and responsibilities associated with Account Activity that includes Inventory, Item Set Up, and SKU Management

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Assist the Senior National Account Manager in the day-to-day operation of key customer account activities.
  • Act as key customer liaison – ensuring that outstanding service is given to the customers, meeting each individual customer’s needs.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of customer ordering, scheduling, and tracking.
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding: product, service, general questions, etc.
  • Coordinate all efforts and communicate constantly with the three Readerlink distribution centers as well as our field service staff.
  • Analyze prior and current sales trends and work to develop additional meaningful reporting metrics.
  • Other duties may be assigned, directed, or requested.

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field is required.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects/requests.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills – in-person, phone, email, presentations, etc.
  • Fast learner, team player, and aggressive problem solver.
  • Strong to advanced experience in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required.
  • Desire to advance and grow within the company.
  • Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to speak with all levels of the organization and outside partners.
  • Ability to communicate complicated information to others.
  • Must be proficient in basic mathematics: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Ability to do algebra, calculate figures and amounts and apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • A methodical and organized approach to problem-solving.
  • The work performed is in an office environment.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate at low decibels.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
  • Employee is occasionally exposed to vibration and dust.
