The Account Representative is responsible for expanding new business and renewals in key accounts to meet/exceed financial and business objectives. This job is assigned a sales quota and performance is measured by meeting or exceeding quarterly and annual targets by up-selling, add-on sale, and cross-selling. This position reports to a Territory Sales Leader and will work closely with our Field and Inside Sales Teams, Autodesk Partner Management, Autodesk Channel Partners, and Autodesk Field Sales.

Responsibilities

  • Applies sales skills associated with a cold calling sales model; strong verbal and written skills required

  • Conduct outbound customer calls with a required minimum number of 10-20 calls daily

  • Understand customer issues and requirements in order to recommend a specific Autodesk product or industry solution

  • Maintain basic knowledge of Autodesk products, competitive products, and industry trends as well as Autodesk Subscription and Advanced Support

  • Maintain strong understanding of promotions and campaigns related to doing business with Autodesk and/or its Partners

  • Provide partner with the relevant information, understanding their business workflow to create and close opportunities

  • Utilize Salesforce.com to document all customer opportunities and customer activity

  • Maintain Salesforce.com opportunities using probability definitions embedded to categorize opportunities accordingly to accurately forecast against plans and targets weekly

  • Build strong relationships for business planning with each partner and with partner management team

  • Respond to partner and customer inquiries in a professional and prompt manner

Minimum Qualifications

  • Familiarity with sales process and certain selling methodologies i.e. TAS

  • Familiarity with sales logging applications (i.e., Salesforce)

  • Ability to adapt quickly and manage difficult situations while remaining upbeat and positive at all times

  • Strong work ethic: Team oriented, self-starter, high energy, and results oriented

  • Highly proficient computer skills including internet, SFDC, email, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint

  • Database management a plus
