We are seeking a talented individual to join our Controller Team. This role will be based in Bogota, Colombia This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office

Account Receivable Manager is responsible for setting the AR strategy and objectives, maintaining the SOX/internal control environment and ensuring remediation of control gaps, and making final decisions on escalations. Owns KPI targets and team performance, leads hiring, performance reviews and succession planning for the AR team, and reviews significant variances in reconciliations and month‑end close. Receives weekly updates on SLAs, aging and major exceptions, ensures clear communication of audit outcomes and control issues, and provides executive summaries on AR performance and risk to Finance leadership.

We will count on you to:

• Set strategy and objectives for AR (DRO targets, automation priorities)
• Own SOX/internal control environment and ensure remediation of control gaps
• Final decision-maker for escalations
• Accountable for KPI targets and team performance outcomes
• Be informed by Coordinator about weekly SLAs, aging, and major exceptions
• Ensure clear communication plan for audit outcomes and control issues
• Review significant variances on reconciliations/month-end close
• Lead hiring, performance reviews, and succession planning for AR team
• Provide executive summaries on AR performance and risk to Finance leadership

What you need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in same roles, preferably within the insurance industry.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in team leadership and people management, preferably within the insurance industry.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with fluency in English and Spanish. (Level C1)
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences.
