Accurately process and manage vendor invoices and payments.
Ensure timely and compliant handling of accounts payable transactions.
Support the finance team with record keeping and reconciliation tasks.
Contribute to maintaining strong vendor relationships through effective communication and follow-up.
Review, verify, and code invoices for payment in accordance with company policies.
Enter invoice data into the accounting system with high accuracy.
Assist with matching purchase orders, invoices, and delivery receipts.
Prepare and process electronic payments and checks.
Maintain organized and up-to-date accounts payable files and documentation.
Respond promptly to vendor inquiries regarding payment status.
Support month-end closing activities including reconciliations and reporting.
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and issues.
Adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements related to financial transactions.
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
Basic understanding of accounts payable processes or prior internship experience is a plus.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Familiarity with accounting software is advantageous but not mandatory.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
