What you'll do

  • Develop and execute value-based sales strategies to position American Airlines as the preferred airline supplier for corporate and agency customers.
  • Partner with key accounts to create tailored solutions that deliver measurable outcomes and enhance the travel experience for their customers.
  • Analyze data and customer needs through online, telephone, and in-person meetings, leveraging insights to increase revenue, passenger share, and improve revenue quality.
  • Coordinate and implement programs in collaboration with field and staff departments, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Prepare impactful proposals, presentations, and correspondence to support sales and retailing activities.
  • Communicate updates on American Airlines products and services to stakeholders, ensuring clarity and engagement.
  • Represent American Airlines at sponsored events and client entertainment opportunities to strengthen relationships and brand presence.
  • Gain consensus and commitment from stakeholders across multiple organizations to drive strategic initiatives forward.
  • Travel as needed to support account management and business development activities.

All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience/training
  • 3+ years experience working in Sales, Revenue Management, Revenue Analysis or other airline commercial teams

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • ​Airline or business to business sales experience

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

  • ​Ability to operate in a highly competitive, demanding environment
  • Ability to communicate to high level executives
  • Strong account strategy development and execution skills required
  • Understanding of modern retailing approaches and strategies
  • Understanding of modern airline distribution technology such as NDC, online booking tools, GDSs
