
Our client, a global leader in manufacturing technology/software is seeking a motivated Sales Engineer / Account Manager to join their growing sales team. This role is ideal for a driven sales professional with a technical background and experience in the automotive or related industries.
As a Sales Engineer / Account Manager, you will be responsible for promoting and selling the company’s solutions within a defined portfolio of accounts. You’ll maintain and grow existing relationships while identifying and developing new business opportunities. Collaboration with internal technical experts and marketing teams will be key to delivering the full range of offerings to your customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and expand relationships with assigned accounts, identifying strategic opportunities for growth
Act as a key representative of the company within client organizations, guiding opportunities from development to close
Maintain a current understanding of automotive technology trends and collaborate with engineering teams to tailor solutions
Gain proficiency in the company’s product suite and prepare presentations tailored to specific customer needs
Develop and implement strategic account plans and sales forecasts to meet or exceed booking targets
Position the company as a trusted partner in customer projects focused on simulation, testing, and validation
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences
Coordinate with internal sales operations to ensure timely and accurate quoting, CRM updates, and sales cycle tracking
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field
Experience selling complex technical software and/or hardware solutions, ideally within the automotive industry
Proven ability to manage large accounts or territories, working collaboratively with technical sales teams
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction, with the ability to travel domestically and internationally
