As an Account Manager at Grassfish in Vienna, you will be the central commercial contact for our national and international customers and partners. You will take ownership of existing accounts, build long-term relationships and support customers in developing their Digital In-Store strategies.
Your responsibilities include:
Managing and developing national and international customer and partner accounts in the Digital In-Store, Digital Signage and Retail Media environment
Acting as a trusted commercial advisor throughout the customer lifecycle
Understanding customer needs, business models and retail challenges, and translating them into suitable Grassfish solutions
Identifying cross-selling and upselling opportunities, including product extensions, new modules, innovations and contract renewals
Driving strategic account planning, including account development, pipeline management, yearly forecasting and revenue responsibility
Preparing and supporting contract negotiations, commercial agreements and renewal discussions
Managing tenders, customer requests and complex project proposals in close collaboration with Consulting, Product Management, Development and Management
Preparing and conducting customer presentations, sales pitches, product showcases and live demos of the Grassfish IXM platform
Representing Grassfish at customer meetings, trade fairs, industry events and partner presentations
Acting as the key interface between customers and internal teams such as Consulting, Product Management, Development and Marketing
Ensuring smooth communication, expectation management and commercial follow-up throughout customer projects
Documenting and tracking all relevant sales and account activities in Salesforce and other internal tools
Your profile
Successfully completed commercial or technical education - career changers are welcome
Professional experience in Sales, Account Management, Customer Success or Inside Sales, ideally in a SaaS company
Experience in Retail, IT, AV, Online, Digital Signage, Retail Media, DOOH or AdTech is a strong advantage
Strong interest in modern technologies and innovative retail solutions
Good understanding of commercial processes, customer development and long-term account growth
Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
Experience with Salesforce is an advantage
Willingness to travel for customer meetings, presentations, demos, pitches, trade fairs and events
Professional, confident and service-oriented appearance in customer-facing situations
Strong sense of ownership, self-initiative and the ability to work independently in a dynamic international environment

Legal note for Austria
The position is full-time and located to the office in Vienna. According to our collective agreement, the minimum salary is β¬ 3.954 gross per month based on full-time employment (38.5 hours/week). The final compensation is based on your qualifications and experience and will be discussed accordingly.
