Your Role

You will be responsible to lead and grow the global IDMs, Foundry and OEM customers in primarily Singapore, Malaysia and India as part of SEA region. Under Merck’s Thin Film business unit, you will manage the full commercial relationship both directly and through distribution partners. You will be the primary point of contact bridging the distributor and the end customers, driving revenue, new process-of-record wins and long term account penetration.

Southeast Asia including India Thin Film accounts and OEM customers

  • Accountable to deliver Thin Film revenue growth for your accounts and meet or exceed product profitability goals.
  • The position will manage all SELL activities including opportunities prioritization, product promotion, margin enhancement, price enhancement, process improvement, ensuring accurate forecast input and other associated activities.
  • Under the guideline of your respective accounts’ Key Account Managers (GKAM), accountable to develop and execute customer strategies and implementing multi-year price agreements.
  • Develop relationship management across multiple stakeholders levels (procurement, engineering, quality, supply planning etc )
  • Acting as the single point of accountability when issues arises and quickly co-ordinating the responses and support across internal cross-functional teams to meet customer’s urgent concerns.
  • The position will work with distributors on commercial matters and business development to achieve win-win outcome
  • Gather market intelligence on pricing trends, competitor activity, customer roadmaps etc.

Who you are:

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in an engineering, chemistry or scientific field
  • >5 years of working experience in key areas of semiconductor sales, account management, marketing or product management.
  • Professional experience in Semiconductor Fab processes and Semiconductor Materials is essential.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 8-10 years relevant Semiconductor technical sales experience.
  • Proven track record of managing distributor channels.
  • Experience selling into or working with semiconductor foundries or IDMs.
