JOB MISSION:

Responsible for driving sales of New Balance footwear, apparel, and accessories across a selected portfolio of accounts.

The purpose of this role is to develop long-term, sustainable partnerships with key accounts within the assigned territory, helping to grow and strengthen their business with the New Balance brand.

The role is also responsible for providing the Salesor theLineManager withaccuratebusiness plans, forecasts, and account development strategies for all customers under their responsibility.

This position will be based in Madrid; however, other locations in Southern Iberia may be considered depending on the successful candidate.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Sell In

  • Build long-term, sustainable relationships with accounts andmaintaincontact at multiple levels within each organization.
  • Meet or exceed all footwear and apparel sales targets within the territory, including pre-book sales, replenishment orders, and clearanceobjectives, in line with budget expectations.

  • Deliver professional, customer-focused sales excellence in every interaction, ensuring the highest standards of presentation and service.

  • Maintain an up-to-date and in-depth knowledge of New Balance products and collections.

  • Manage the customer portfolio in line with the brand's distribution strategy.

  • Identifyproduct opportunities and executecategory and product strategiesbased on account segmentation.

  • Conduct regular travel, store visits, and face-to-face customer meetings as part of weekly responsibilities.

Sell Through

  • Continuously analyze sales and margin performance againstobjectivesand implement corrective actions where necessary.

  • Work closely with the Marketing team to develop and execute cooperative activities with strategic accounts.

  • Collect and analyze weekly sell-through data and implement actions accordingly.

  • Develop action plans to achieve monthly order book conversion targets and annualsales objectives, addressing any performance gaps.

  • Support inventory management and stock replenishment initiatives with accounts.

CommunicationandTeamwork

  • Provide structured market and customer feedback to the Sales Manager or the Line Manager, Product Team, and Sales Planning TeamregardingNew Balance products and competitor activity.

  • Deliver regular account and product performance updates to Sales, Marketing, and Product teams.

  • Effectively communicate New Balance's values,objectives, policies, and brand positioning to accounts within the territory.

  • Conduct monthly and quarterly business reviews with key customers.

  • Ensure all reporting, forecasting, and administrative deadlines are met accurately and on time.

Performanceand Efficiency

  • Prepareaccurateseasonal and quarterly sales forecasts by account, style, and month.

  • Collaborate with Sales Planning to develop assortments and planning scenarios.

  • Work closely with Customer Operation teams to maximize service levels and effectively manage the order book from order placement through delivery, including order reconciliation, pricing validation, discount verification, and shipment phasing.

  • Enter and manage orders through the Elastic B2B platform.

  • Partner with the Finance team to resolve payment-related issues promptly and proactively minimize future credit risks affecting order book conversion.

  • Understand,analyze, andleveragecompany reports, KPIs, and sales statistics.

  • Forecast order book conversion on a weekly basis by account.

  • Operate in full compliance with New Balance policies and procedures.

  • Maintain a strong understanding of market trends, industry developments, key retail players, and competitor activity.

  • Deliver full 360º account management, including staff training, in-store merchandising, marketing activations, wear-testing initiatives, and product presentations whererequired

  • Participate in retail events and manage relationships with local clubs and community partners.

  • Develop a deep understanding of all accounts within the territory, including organizational structures, key stakeholders, strategic priorities, and growth opportunities.

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:

  • University degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

  • Proven experience in Account Management, Sales, or Business Development.

  • Strong forecasting, planning, analytical, and numerical reasoning skills.

  • Passion for and understanding of the sportswear, footwear, and lifestyle industries.

  • Excellent negotiation, organization, influencing, and communication skills.

  • Results-driven mindset with a strong focus on achieving targets.

  • Strong affinity with the New Balance brand and an active interest in sports.

  • Collaborative team player with a positive attitude.

  • Fluent verbal and written communication skills in both Spanish and English.

  • Strong presentation skills and willingness to support regional (EMEA) initiatives whenrequired

Será responsable de impulsar las ventas de calzado, textil y accesorios de New Balance en una cartera seleccionada de clientes.

PRINCIPALES RESPONSABILIDADES:

Sell-In

  • Construir relaciones sólidas y sostenibles con los clientes, manteniendo contacto con diferentes interlocutores dentro de cada organización.

  • Alcanzar o superar los objetivos de venta de calzado y textil asignados al territorio, incluyendo campañas futuras, reposiciones y liquidaciones, de acuerdo con el presupuesto establecido.

  • Garantizar un enfoque comercialprofesional y orientado al cliente, manteniendo los más altos estándares de servicio y presentación.

  • Mantener un conocimiento profundo y actualizado de los productos y colecciones de New Balance.

  • Gestionar la cartera de clientes de acuerdo con la estrategia de distribución de la marca.

  • Identificar oportunidades de negocio y ejecutar estrategias de producto basadas en la segmentación de clientes.

  • Realizar viajes, visitas a tienda y reuniones presenciales con clientes de forma habitual.

Sell-Through

  • Analizar continuamente las ventas y la rentabilidad de las cuentas frente a los objetivos establecidos e implementar acciones correctivas cuando sea necesario.

  • Colaborar estrechamente con el equipo de Marketing para desarrollar actividades conjuntas con clientes estratégicos.

  • Obtener y analizar semanalmente información desell-throughpara identificar oportunidades de mejora.

  • Desarrollar planes de acción para alcanzar los objetivos de conversión de cartera de pedidos y ventas anuales.

  • Dar soporte a la gestión de inventarios y reposiciones de producto.

Comunicación y Trabajo en Equipo

  • Proporcionarfeedbackestructurado al Sales Manager, al equipo de Producto y al equipo de SalesPlanningsobre el rendimiento de producto, tendencias de mercado y actividad de la competencia.

  • Compartir información periódica sobre cuentas, ventas y productos con los equipos internos relevantes.

  • Comunicar eficazmente los valores, objetivos, políticas y posicionamiento de marca de New Balance a los clientes de su territorio.

  • Realizar revisiones de negocio mensuales y trimestrales con clientes clave.

  • Garantizar el cumplimiento puntual y riguroso de todos los informes, previsiones y procesos administrativos requeridos.

Rendimiento y Eficiencia

  • Elaborar previsiones de ventas precisas por cliente, referencia y mes.

  • Colaborar con el equipo de SalesPlanningen la construcción de surtidos y escenarios comerciales.

  • Trabajar junto con Customer Service para maximizar los niveles de servicio y gestionar eficazmente la cartera de pedidos desde la entrada hasta la entrega final.

  • Gestionar pedidos a través de la plataformaElasticB2B.

  • Colaborar con el Departamento Financiero para resolver incidencias de pago y minimizar riesgos de crédito.

  • Comprender y utilizar los informes,KPIsy estadísticas de la compañía para la toma de decisiones.

  • Realizar previsiones semanales de conversión de cartera de pedidos por cliente.

  • Actuar en todo momento conforme a las políticas y procedimientos de New Balance.

  • Mantener un conocimiento actualizado del mercado, la distribución deportiva, los principales operadores y la competencia.

  • Desarrollar una gestión integral de las cuentas (360º), incluyendo formación de personal, visualmerchandising, activaciones de marketing, pruebas de producto y presentaciones comerciales.

  • Participar en eventos de tienda y gestionar relaciones con clubes deportivos y comunidades locales.

  • Conocer en profundidad la estructura organizativa, los responsables de decisión, prioridades y oportunidades de desarrollo de cada cuenta del territorio.

REQUISITOS:

  • Titulación universitaria en Empresa, Marketing, Gestión Deportiva o disciplina afín, o experiencia profesional equivalente.

  • Experiencia demostrable en gestión de cuentas, ventas o desarrollo de negocio.

  • Sólidas capacidades de previsión, planificación, análisis y razonamiento numérico.

  • Conocimiento y pasión por los sectores deportivo,lifestyley moda deportiva.

  • Excelentes habilidades de negociación, organización, influencia y comunicación.

  • Clara orientación a resultados y al cumplimiento de objetivos.

  • Afinidad con la marca New Balance e interés por el deporte.

  • Capacidad para trabajar de forma colaborativa en equipo.

  • Dominio profesional de español e inglés, tanto escrito como hablado.

  • Excelentes habilidades de presentación y disponibilidad para participar en proyectos regionales EMEA cuando sea necesario.
