Job Profile Summary
Execute tasks which have broad span across the department, providing broad scale coverage and knowledge center capabilities for the department, optimizing systems and processes, and implementing innovation at scale for the department. Responsible for assisting in the development and evaluation of department improvement opportunities, involving technology advancement, systems development, and asset optimization,and coordinate implementation of associated projects as applicable to the position. The exact title (Account Manager or Director) will be determined based on the individual candidate’s skillset and applicable work experience, if any.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Execute tasks to optimize systems and processes for the department including but not limited to:
Systems development, integration, and enhancements
Technological advancement strategy development and execution
Power and asset optimization initiatives
Assist in the product gain/loss (aka over/short) process for the entire department
Managing carrier inventory positions
Routinely managing ad-hoc assignments
Creatively originate ideas to advance the department’s capabilities, efficiency, earnings, etc.
Provide subject matter expertise regarding:
The company’s crude oil assets, operations, policies, procedures, desk documentation, working norms, select contracts, etc.
Scheduling systems, tools, and associated technology
The interplay of cross-departmental measurement and accounting processes
Develop and manage internal and external relationships
Participate in development of small to mid-scale projects to support business strategies
Prepare economic models, perform calculations, and conduct analyses to for review to assist in the evaluation of technological advancement, innovative and organic growth projects as applicable to the position
Research information for evaluation to determine its applicability to our business operations and utilize this information to help formulate our overall strategic business plans
Interact and participate with accounting, measurement, operations, commercial, scheduling, legal and others regarding the business line’s commercial strategies, obligations, and innovation efforts

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent formal education to include a combination of courses such as finance, accounting, engineering, business management, or job related experience
Work Experience
Experience with and thorough knowledge of activities related to gas supply, gas purchase, gathering systems, gas transportation, gas storage, gas accounting, and/or gas sales, including equity gas sales and purchases, as applicable to the position
Experience in use and function of office equipment including microcomputers and applicable software
Experience and/or knowledge including but not limited to:

Experience analyzing data with a strong business acumen

$103,000.00 - $155,000.00
