Job Description

Implements and supports sales strategies to gain market share in with defined accounts in an assigned sales territory. Meets or exceeds established annual revenue targets, or other business development expectations. Manage established customer base, search for additional customer(s) and maintains market data for business planning. Assists operation team with customer interactions, invoicing and other duties as required.

Essential Duties:

- Maintain database of customer information.

- Provide all aspects of account maintenance.

- Answer customer calls for product information.

- Assist customers with product availability, pricing, and order status.

- Identify and assess sales opportunities with specific accounts and territories.

- Establish long-term business relationships with customers.

- Manage sales relationships at all levels of customer base.

- Achieve measurable sales growth.

- Negotiate with customers and internal departments to reach mutually beneficial solutions.

Non-Essential Duties:

- Performs other duties as assigned

Ability to travel up to fifty percent (50%) of time.

Knowledge:

- Strong knowledge of the oil/gas industry, natural gas compression and mechanical aptitude.

- Familiarity with products and services offering.

- Strong sales skill set with ability to navigate between influencer and decision maker(s).

-Strong Market understanding of related industry and/or area.

Minimum Education and Certification:

- Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.

Minimum Experience:

- Minimum 5 years experience in sales within oil field equipment and services.

Leadership:

- Expected to serve as a resource to others for knowledge transfer, training and checking work.

- Will lead a sales related project, which may include but not limited to, cross functional project mangement.

- Expected to be able to influence others within and outside of the sales team.

- Regularly required to stand, walk, and bend with good balance, use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms

- Regularly required to sit, perform repetitive duties, use a PC and to talk and hear

- Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus

- Regularly required to lift, move and carry up to 10 pounds

Problem Solving & Innovation:

- Develops solutions to complex problems where analysis of situations of data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors and that frequently require new approaches to resolve problems encountered.

- Expected to frequently recommend and implement methods and procedures to improve safety, efficiency, quality, cost, etc. within scope of role.

- Actions and decisions have strong positive impact in financial results.

- Will require minimal time from cross-functional groups on overall development.
