The impact you’ll make

As an Account Manager at Lam, you are essential to fostering lasting relationships with our valued customers. Engaging directly with customers, you'll proactively address their needs, arrange strategic meetings, and support them with a range of Lam’s wafer fabrication equipment products and services. Your dynamic approach ensures the success of our partnerships and contributes to Lam's position as an industry leader.

What you’ll do

Customer Account Management

  • Serve as the primary operational contact for customer procurement and purchasing organizations.
  • Manage customer demand requirements, order fulfillment, delivery schedules, and escalation activities.
  • Build strong relationships with customer stakeholders to ensure alignment on business priorities and commitments.
  • Coordinate customer requests and communicate delivery status, forecast changes, and supply constraints.

Sales Operations Management

  • Act as the key liaison between regional sales teams and global Sales Operations organizations.
  • Consolidate customer demand and sales forecasts across multiple Business Units.
  • Drive forecasting accuracy and ensure alignment between customer requirements and internal planning assumptions.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual business planning cycles.

Revenue Commitment & Business Performance

  • Manage revenue commitment processes and ensure alignment with corporate financial objectives.
  • Track bookings, backlog, shipments, and revenue performance against targets.
  • Monitor and report key business metrics to executive leadership and Business Unit management.
  • Identify risks and opportunities impacting revenue attainment and recommend mitigation plans.

Delivery & Manufacturing Coordination

  • Coordinate delivery commitments across all product lines and Business Units.
  • Partner closely with Sales Operations, and Planning teams to optimize delivery schedules.
  • Manage manufacturing slot allocation and prioritization based on customer demand and business priorities.
  • Proactively resolve delivery conflicts and production capacity constraints.

Forecasting & Demand Planning

  • Lead customer forecast collection, validation, and consolidation processes.
  • Analyze demand trends and develop actionable insights to improve planning accuracy.
  • Drive forecast alignment among customers, sales teams, Business Units, and factory operations.
  • Support capacity planning discussions and operational readiness reviews.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Collaborate with Sales Operations, Finance, and Product Business Units.
  • Facilitate regular business reviews and executive-level discussions.
  • Drive process improvements to enhance forecasting, delivery performance, and operational efficiency.

Who we’re looking for

  • Minimum of 12 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 8 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 5 years experience; or equivalent experience.

Preferred qualifications

Experience with semiconductor front-end process technologies, including Etch and Deposition equipment.
Knowledge of Advanced Packaging manufacturing environments.
Experience working with global customers and multinational organizations.
Experience in executive business reporting and KPI management.
Understanding of manufacturing planning and capacity management concepts.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a matrix organization.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
