Job Description

Role

  • Analyze and synthesize the customer specifications
  • Take in charge the technical support to the sales activities for the Thermal Segment
  • In charge of the realization of the technical documentation achievement with project team in link with the activity of the technical support (quality procedures, technical drawings…)
  • Coordinate the activities of the key actors of the project under the sponsoring of the account manager

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the development of new products in the range
  • Analyze the customer specifications. Study the critical points, analyze the scope and judge the feasibility
  • Define the refractory design, products selection and lining composition, following the technical specification
  • Consult or have the buyer consults external suppliers
  • Define and monitor the project schedule
  • Monitor the technical drawings and BoM or has them produced by the Calderys design offices
  • Monitor the achievement of technical, quality and project documentation
  • Supports the sales representative during negotiations or during project follow-up or closing meetings
  • Participate to the quality inspections in the workshops of clients, Calderys and subcontractors
  • Ensure the development of new products in the range
  • Evaluate and supervise the installation of our products in client sites, writes visit and analysis reports

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Refractories or of our customers' processes (Cement, Petrochemical, Incinerator and boiler)
  • Knowledge of lining designs
  • Realization of industrial drawings (Autocad)
  • Ability to work in a team, commercial and technical
  • English essential
  • Organized, rigorous and autonomous in his daily work,
  • Capacity for communication and transversal management
  • Ability to use common IT tools (Excel, Word, Web tools)
