Join Ecolab Life Sciences as a Technical Sales Specialist

Are you passionate about combining science, customer consulting, and sales? In this role, you will support life science, pharmaceutical, healthcare, cosmetics, and biotechnology customers across Austria with high-quality cleaning and disinfection solutions. You will work with technical and scientific decision-makers in regulated environments such as pharmaceutical manufacturing, laboratories, cleanrooms, biotechnology, and cell and gene therapy.

Your impact

• Grow our Life Sciences business in Austria and contribute to national and regional success.
• Partner with customers to solve complex cleaning, hygiene, and contamination-control challenges.
• Build trusted relationships through regular on-site visits, expert consulting, and tailored training.
• Develop your expertise in pharmaceutical, cleanroom, and regulatory quality requirements.
• Collaborate with international colleagues across the Ecolab Life Sciences network.
• Use market insights, KPIs, and forecasting to identify opportunities and win new business.

What makes you a great fit

• A degree in chemistry, food technology, microbiology, or a related field, or comparable vocational training.
• At least 2 years of sales experience, ideally in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or beauty industry.
• A consultative sales mindset, strong business acumen, and a proven ability to understand customer needs.
• Confident communication and presentation skills in German and English.
• Strong planning skills, willingness to travel across Austria, and a valid driver’s license.
• A hands-on mentality, integrity, and confidence using MS Office and CRM systems.

Salary: The minimum monthly salary for this role is €4,500, with willingness to overpay depending on qualifications and experience.
