Are you a motivated sales professional who enjoys building relationships, winning new business, and growing a territory? Spectrum Paint Company is seeking an Account Manager / Outside Sales Representative to develop new accounts and expand existing customer relationships in the paint and coatings industry
This is a B2B outside sales and territory sales role focused on contractors, commercial customers, and industrial clients. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who enjoys building strong customer relationships and driving sales growth within an assigned territory

$50,000 – $70,000 per year (Base + Sales Incentives)
Compensation will be based on sales experience and paint/coatings industry experience
Develop new business opportunities and open new contractor accounts
Manage and grow existing customer relationships
Increase territory sales through prospecting and relationship development
Provide product recommendations and application guidance for coatings
Quote competitive pricing and close sales opportunities
Place and track customer orders to ensure timely completion
Maintain regular contact with customers to identify new opportunities
Collaborate with the Store Manager and Regional Sales Manager
Resolve customer concerns and ensure excellent service
Maintain accurate sales activity and territory reports
Outside Sales, B2B Sales, or Territory Sales experience
Experience in the paint, coatings, or contractor supply industry
Relationships with professional painters, contractors, builders, or commercial accounts
Candidates with experience from painting and coatings companies are encouraged to apply
Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset
Ability to manage and grow a B2B sales territory
Excellent customer service and presentation skills
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to pass a background check and MVR check
Monday – Friday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
