Prudential’s Group Insurance (GI) Customer Relationship Management team is seeking an experienced National Account Manager specializing in supporting our block of AbsenceOne customers. Our AbsenceOne offering is part of our partnership with Sedgwick caring for front-end disability services including STD, Absence, Statutory Plans and ADA for our customers with over 10,000 lives. Reporting to the Director of the Prudential AbsenceOne Center of Excellence, the incumbent is accountable for driving strategic account management, service excellence and account retention working in partnership with Prudential National Account Executives, Prudential Product, and Sedgwick Customer Service Directors as well as internal functional areas providing services to their aligned accounts.

Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for the service excellence execution of our AbsenceOne customers.
  • Developing successful relationships with AbsenceOne customers and brokers.
  • Managing a client account portfolio of 8-10 accounts.
  • Actively participating as a member of the AbsenceOne Center of Excellence Team and being a champion of teamwork within the group.
  • Collaborating directly with functional partners, including the Sedgwick Team, to ensure consistency of service delivery, issue resolution, and program specific changes and enhancements are implemented timely and accurately.
  • Participating in sales finalist meetings, representing the excellence offered through the AbsenceOne program.
  • Providing fresh ideas, perspectives and process improvements that continue to drive and elevate service excellence to our customers.
  • Working to develop and enhance reporting and data analytics around our AbsenceOne block.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5-8 years of client-facing experience, preferably within the insurance industry; 4-5 years of benefits and/or leave administration experience is a plus.
  • Ability to support primarily West Region accounts, including Mountain and Pacific time zones.
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and identify process improvement opportunities.
  • Strong learning agility and adaptability.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
  • Excellent analytical and interpretive capabilities.
  • Resilient and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 15%-20%.

What we offer you:

Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $106,000.00 to $174,900.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
