営業チームの一員として、先端材料・エレクトロニクス・精密製造などの業界における新規ソフトウェアおよびサービス事業の開拓、案件の発掘・評価・育成をご担当いただきます。お客様は研究者、部門管理職、営幹部まで多岐にわたります。また、社内のアプリケーションサイエンティスト、プロダクトマネージャー、経営陣、他のアカウントマネージャーとも密接に連携していただきます。

主な職務内容

• 担当顧客に対する包括的戦略を立案し、四半期・年間売上目標を達成
• 化学、エレクトロニクス、半導体、エネルギー、自動車、航空宇宙など、日本の主要産業における材料科学アカウントのパイプライン構築・管理
• 定期的な顧客ミーティングやセミナーを企画・実施。アプリケーションサイエンティストと連携した技術デモンストレーションを含み、見込み客および既存顧客との信頼関係を構築
• ライセンス契約・サービス契約の交渉・締結。見積作成から契約締結、導入支援まで営業プロセス全体を管理
• 導入後の顧客満足度向上・リテンション活動の実施
• 市場動向の継続的なモニタリング——どのセクターが計算R&Dへの投資を強化しているか、どこにケイパビリティギャップがあるか、Schrödingerが真の価値を提供できる領域はどこかを把握

• 正確かつタイムリーな売上予測の作成、米国本社への定期的な業績報告・市場フィードバックの提供
• 顧客との関係構築・維持のため、国内出張を適宜実施

応募要件

必須要件

• アカウント戦略策定および売上予測の実務経験
• 科学系またはエンタープライズソフトウェア営業における5年以上の経験
• 営業目標達成の確かな実績
• 未開拓市場を自ら育てていく意欲と推進力

歓迎要件

• 化学、生物学、または関連科学分野の学士号
• ビジネスレベルの英語力（会議、プレゼンテーション、文書作成が可能なレベル）

Senior Account Manager (Material Science) - Japan

About Schrödinger

Schrödinger is the global leader in atomic-scale modeling and physics-based chemical simulation software. We are looking for a highly driven Senior Account Manager to join our Japan sales team — someone who is passionate about cutting-edge scientific solutions and capable of building lasting, trust-based relationships with our customers.

As part of the sales team, you will be responsible for developing new software and services business across industries including advanced materials, electronics, and precision manufacturing — identifying, qualifying, and advancing opportunities from initial contact through close. You will engage with a broad range of stakeholders, from researchers and department managers to senior executives, while working closely with internal application scientists, product managers, leadership, and fellow account managers.

What you’ll do:

• Develop comprehensive strategies for assigned customers to achieve quarterly and annual sales targets
• Build and manage a pipeline of materials science accounts across Japan's key industries — including chemicals, electronics, semiconductors, energy, automotive, and aerospace
• Plan and conduct regular customer meetings and seminars, including technical demonstrations in collaboration with application scientists, to build trust with both prospects and existing customers
• Negotiate and close licensing and service agreements, managing the full sales cycle from proposal through contract execution and implementation support
• Drive post-implementation customer satisfaction and retention initiatives
• Continuously monitor market dynamics — tracking which sectors are increasing investment in computational R&D, identifying capability gaps, and mapping where Schrödinger can deliver genuine value
• Produce accurate, timely revenue forecasts and provide regular performance reports and market feedback to headquarters in the US
• Travel domestically within Japan as needed

What you’ll need:

Proven experience in account strategy development and sales forecasting5+ years of experience in scientific or enterprise software salesA demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding sales targetsThe drive and initiative to build a market from the ground up

• A bachelor's degree or higher in chemistry, biology, or a related scientific field
• Business-level English proficiency — sufficient for meetings, presentations, and written communication　 (preferred)
