Join Our Team

We have an exciting opportunity for a driven and commercially savvy Account Manager to join our high-performing team, managing a territory across Mackay and the Bowen Basin.

This role is focused on growing sales, improving margin performance, and delivering exceptional customer outcomes across both existing and new accounts.

This is a permanent, full-time position, with approximately 80% of your time spent in the field, building strong face-to-face customer relationships.

Travel is a key part of this role, including regular overnight stays in the Bowen Basin (minimum 4 nights per fortnight).

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular face-to-face site visits to build strong relationships with key stakeholders and identify growth opportunities
• Scope customer needs onsite and deliver value-led solutions to drive sales and margin growth
• Develop and execute a structured territory call plan to maximise customer coverage and efficiency
• Manage your time effectively, structuring your days to optimise productivity and customer engagement
• Drive territory growth through strategic planning and data-led decision making
• Achieve sales and margin targets through product mix optimisation and pricing discipline
• Identify and convert new business opportunities within your territory
• Build strong internal relationships and collaborate with Customer Care and Supply Chain teams to deliver seamless service

About You

• Proven experience in account management or business development
• Strong knowledge of the Mackay and Bowen Basin market
• Highly effective at building relationships face-to-face in customer environments
• Strong time management and territory planning skills
• Commercially astute, with a solid understanding of pricing, margin, and growth levers
• Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously in a field-based role
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Willing and able to travel regularly, including overnight stays
