Currently, we are searching for a person willing to join our Commercial Team of Business Unit Industrial & Consumer Specialties team. On this position you will identify new business opportunities, shape customer strategies, and translate global marketing direction into local commercial success. Acting as a trusted partner to your customers, you will manage the full sales cycle — from pricing and portfolio management to complaint resolution — with a sharp focus on value creation. Responsibilities

  • Managing sales in Industrial Lubricant Additives, Coatings & Special Applications (Automotive and Heat transfer Fluids and Special Solvents) in Italy.
  • Being responsible for the implementation and execution of regional sales strategy.
  • Pro-active search and development of new customers, new applications, new uses in our portfolio.
  • Managing the direct sales channel (providing training and support for distributors on country level).
  • Developing specific regional and key accounts to increase market share and cooperation.
  • Leading negotiations with key and regional customer.
  • Preparing and submitting commercial offers in line with the targets.
  • Delivering sales target and profitability to the business target.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of commercial experience in sales of chemical specialties
  • Knowledge in chemical production and solid sales essentials
  • Excellent communication skills and advanced negotiation skills
  • Proven technical background and understanding of different applications
  • Good and balanced understanding of research, application development, marketing and sales
  • Pro-active customer approach and teamwork spirit
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities independently
  • Project management skills
  • Readiness for business trips, approx. 40% of working hours
  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering)
  • Language skills:
    • Internal corporate language: English B2 level required
    • Working with customers: Italian C1 level required
