About the Role
The Account Manager, Independent Grocer serves as the primary point of contact for FreshBlooms assigned accounts, building strong relationships and ensuring customer success. This role focuses on supporting independent grocer customers, managing day-to-day account needs, and identifying opportunities to grow business within existing accounts.
What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain long-lasting, trusted advisor relationships with key client stakeholders.
- Act as the internal liaison for clients to ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Identify upselling, cross-selling, and renewal opportunities to maximize account value and meet sales and margin goals.
- Develop strategic account plans, analyze client metrics, and forecast quarterly and annual sales results.
- Clearly communicate account progress and performance metrics to internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Support customers through show activities, product or program quoting, order training for store personnel, and responding to incoming and outgoing calls, emails, and texts.
- Provide account coverage for team members when they are on PTO, sick, or traveling for business.

QualificationsWhat You’ll Bring
- 2+ years of experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, or similar sales/customer success role.
- Knowledge of floral products and the floral industry.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to present and influence at all levels, including C-level.
- Strong analytical skills and experience tracking key account metrics.
- Experience with CRM software (Salesforce preferred) and MS Office (especially Excel).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
