We are looking for a Senior Account Manager Italy & Greece to join our Prepared Foods business. In this strategic commercial role, you will execute the sales strategy for a defined industry segment, focusing on complex and high-value opportunities while building long-term partnerships with key customers across Italy & Greece.

You will be the trusted advisor to our customers, understanding their business challenges, production processes, and growth ambitions. By combining industry knowledge with consultative selling, you will identify opportunities, develop account strategies, and deliver solutions that help customers achieve operational excellence and sustainable growth.

About Prepared Foods

The Prepared Foods business is a leading provider of advanced processing solutions for the ready-to-eat, ready-to-heat, and ready-to-cook markets. Our solutions cover the full production line, from preparation through end-of-line processing.

We support customers producing products such as nuggets, burgers, schnitzels, sausages, fish products, and many other convenience foods. Through technologies including forming, coating, frying, cooking, freezing, and further processing, we help customers create high-quality products while improving efficiency, consistency, and profitability.

Working closely with customers, we combine food technology expertise with in-depth process knowledge to develop innovative solutions tailored to their specific needs.

What you'll do

As a Senior Account Manager, you will:

• Execute the commercial strategy for the Prepared Foods segment Italy and Greece
• Develop and implement strategic account plans aligned with customer objectives, market potential, and business goals.
• Identify, qualify, and drive complex capital equipment and integrated solution opportunities from concept through closing.
• Build strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at customer organizations.
• Analyze customer operations, business performance, and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and value creation.
• Lead customer engagement strategies and coordinate resources across Sales, Solutions, Service, Applications, and Project Management teams.
• Collaborate closely with Regional Sales Directors, Industry Sales Managers, Distribution Partners, and Sales Operations teams.
• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and proactively manage opportunities through CRM systems.
• Drive revenue growth, market share expansion, and profitable business development within the assigned territory.
• Gather and share market intelligence, customer insights, competitive activity, and industry developments.
• Represent JBT Marel at industry events, customer demonstrations, trade shows, and networking activities.
• Ensure accurate forecasting, opportunity management, and customer account reporting.

What you'll bring

Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Food Technology, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 3 years of successful B2B sales experience in capital equipment, industrial solutions, food processing technology, or related industries.
• Proven track record of managing strategic accounts and selling complex, high-value solutions.
• Experience working in an international and matrix organization.
• Strong understanding of consultative and value-based selling methodologies.
• Experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Fluency in Italian and English, both written and spoken.

Travel

This role requires travel throughout Italy, with approximately 40-50% travel expected, including occasional international travel for customer meetings, training, and industry events.
