Business Partner P2
UKG is seeking a Business Partner to support our Managed Services Business Partner team and customers operational coordination, documentation, and internal collaboration. This role is designed as an entry-level professional position that provides foundational experience within the Business Partner function while developing the skills required to manage customer relationships.
As a UMS Business Partner, you will work closely with senior Business Partners and internal teams to support service delivery, maintain account documentation, track key activities, and assist with reporting and communication efforts.
Success in this role will be measured by operational accuracy, strong collaboration with internal teams, attention to detail, and the ability to support customer relationships and service delivery. This role supports the broader objective of ensuring consistent service delivery and high levels of customer satisfaction across Managed Services.
Responsibilities:
Establish partnerships with Managed Services teams as well as Service and Support members including Customer Account Managers, Customer Success Managers and Product Support Specialists to monitor overall account health and risk.
Respond to customer and internal service escalations by facilitating and gathering the appropriate resources and tracking each issue to resolution.
Partner with Managed Services teams to gather, validate, and consolidate data for Quarterly Business Reviews, ensuring accurate and timely population of presentation materials
Monitor client service request and case activity and proactively escalate any items that have stalled or lack movement
Proactively engage with customers and key contacts to strengthen partnerships and support long-term account health
Track contract renewals and proactively flag upcoming dates, required actions, and potential risks
Document activity and maintain internal trackers (Gainsight, Monday, SharePoint), and ensure documentation accuracy
Identify recurring service themes and document trends to support continuous improvement efforts
Leverage AI and internal tools to improve reporting efficiency, documentation quality, and workflow consistency
Basic Qualifications:
• 2–3 years relevant work experience (Operations Support, Account Coordination, Project Coordination or Customer Service)
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
• High attention to detail and data accuracy
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in SaaS, Payroll, HR Technology, or Managed Services environments
• Familiarity with CRM or account management tools (Gainsight, ServiceNow, Monday, SharePoint)
• Highly professional business acumen, positive attitude, and passion about client loyalty
Strong ability to build relationships with both internal and external customers
Proven effectiveness with difficult client situations
Detail oriented and comfortable working on multiple projects simultaneously
