We are looking for a dynamic Account Manager to manage and grow our business with Co-Op and Waitrose. This role will be responsible for delivering profitable growth through strong customer relationships, effective joint business planning and best-in-class execution across range, promotions, marketing and availability. You will be the primary point of contact for both retailers, owning the day-to-day relationship, whilst identifying new opportunities to expand distribution and drive brand visibility in store.

How you will contribute

Transforming Insight into action:

  • Generating and utilizing data-led insights to prioritise category, channel and customer opportunities and plans.

Building effective growth strategies with customers:

  • Through alignment to our category vision, implementing revenue growth management levers (pricing, trade terms, promotional investment, mix management, Pack Price Architecture) and a vision for the point of buying.

Planning and Executional Excellence

  • Through leading the JBP, forecasting and monitoring of performance, and great execution of our plans at the point of buying (online and offline).

Best in Class Customer Leadership:

  • Through Selling and Influencing, Negotiating and Joint Business Planning.
  • Can sell and negotiate effectively to deliver solutions and results that work for both parties.
  • Able to translate customer needs and broader trends to identify growth opportunities and build aligned solutions for mutual benefit.

  • Analytical skills to interpret data and generate insight
  • A customer-centric approach to building and maintaining relationships
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and business needs
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, organised and flexible
  • Collaborative, enabling meaningful working relationships with the rest of the Grenade team
  • Proven experience in Account Management within Grocery
