We are currently looking to recruit an Account Manager This is a field-based role and reports to the Regional Sales Manager Benelux. You will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
The key objective of the role is to create and implement strategies to deliver excellent sales execution in the area of responsibility. You will be accountable for achievement of sales objectives within a dedicated and dynamic market.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Achieve promotion of products and activities in the area of responsibility of budget assigned for the product lines and product focus
Management of sales and negotiations in public and private healthcare institutions, quarterly & annual business review with focus customers
Presentation of products to target customers in Operating Room environment and intensive care and support the correct use of tools and products
Participation in congresses, clinical workshops
Launch of new products for the customers selected in line with the business objectives
Implementation of promotional action plans in your area of responsibility
Coordination of the major players in the market, Key Opinion Leader’s and administrative operators
Effective use of a CRM system (SalesForce.com)
Effective use of clinical literature references
Identification of business opportunities and follow-up on assigned projects
Identification and planning of commercial solutions applicable to the area of responsibility
Support of events in your territory
Qualifications and Experience
Fluency in Dutch, advanced French and English skills
Commercial or clinical/nursing apprenticeship or bachelor’s degree in nursing/science/business administration/ medical engineering
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty
Able to develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members
Thinking and acting entrepreneurially
Patient and customer centric approach
Ability to think strategically and foster a culture for continuous improvement
Medical devices industry experience is preferred
At least two years’ experience in sales positions
Good IT skills (windows)
Willingness to travel
