We are seeking an experienced Accounts Manager to lead our finance and accounting operations, ensure statutory compliance, manage foreign exchange and international transactions, and support day-to-day accounting activities including payroll, tax filings, and legal documentation. This role will work closely with our Head Office in Japan and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Operations & Reporting
Oversee day-to-day accounting functions (AP/AR, general ledger, bank reconciliation, payroll).
Prepare accurate monthly financial statements, reports, and reconciliations.
Compliance & Tax
Ensure timely TDS, GST, income tax & statutory filings and maintain supporting documentation.
Prepare and manage tax declarations and company registration/legal documents required for compliance.
Forex & International Transactions
Manage forex transactions and wire transfers with banks, ensuring regulatory compliance and accurate recording.
Coordinate FX activities and intercompany settlements with the Japan office. Coordination & Audits
Liaise with the Head Office in Japan for financial reporting, reconciliations, and audits.
Support internal and external audits with necessary documentation and responses.
Leadership & Process Improvement
Guide accounting team members, set processes, and implement internal controls for accuracy and compliance.
Transfer Pricing
Knowledge of transfer pricing regulations and coordination with consultants for compliance and audits.
International Taxation
Basic exposure to international taxation for cross-border and intercompany transactions.
