You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of existing E&P customers and developing new business opportunities within the South East Finland Region. This includes managing sales for both Liquified (Bulk) and Packaged Gases.
Your focus will be on sectors such as Welding, Cutting, Heat Treatment, Laser, Automotive, Shipyards, Construction, Workshops, and metal fabrication.
Key responsibilities include ensuring customer satisfaction, managing pricing and profitability, and driving business growth.
As an active Account Manager within the Finnish Sales team, you will be the key contact for your customer portfolio and a catalyst for new business growth in your designated region. Your role will involve actively managing and developing business for Air Liquide's products and services, including new business acquisitions, which requires frequent physical meetings and presence in the region.
A crucial part of this role is also to gather and report relevant market information.
Manage the designated portfolio of E&P customers within the defined region.
Drive sales growth, market share capture, and overall profitability within the assigned sales sector.
Actively pursue new customer acquisitions to meet business targets and maintain a robust prospect pipeline.
Oversee the implementation of the established commercial policy for all existing contracts.
Responsible for the creation, roll-out, and closing of offers.
Regularly engage with customers (both physically and digitally) to cultivate and strengthen customer intimacy with both new and existing accounts.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Maintain a high level of expertise in the industry sector and relevant technical applications.
Participate in sales and marketing events and contribute insights to sales activities.
Ensure customer information, including visits, contacts, and opportunities, is accurately maintained in the CRM tool (Salesforce).
Bachelor's degree (preferably in business, technical, or chemical fields) or equivalent relevant work experience.
Excellent proficiency in Finnish, both verbal and written.
Good command of English, as it is the group language.
Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing abilities.
Excellent organizational and planning skills.
Highly communicative, socially active, and capable of building long-term, profitable partnerships; a true team player.
A valid driving license is required, with the ability to travel approximately 3–4 days per week.
Ideal candidates are located within the Tampere-Helsinki-Lahti triangle.
Experience
Minimum of 2-3 years of sales experience, preferably within the industrial sector.
Demonstrated result-orientation for both new business development and existing accounts.
Knowledge of the gas industry is beneficial.
Proficiency in IT and CRM systems, as well as Google applications.
Good understanding of fundamental business principles and strong commercial awareness.
