As an Account Manager within the Nokia Defence organization, you’ll play a pivotal role in expanding our global presence in the defence telecommunications sector. Working closely with our strategic partners, you will be at the forefront of identifying, developing, and leading sales opportunities that align with our long-term vision and growth strategy.

You’ll help shape reliable and secure communication solutions for the defence and military markets. This position offers flexibility in terms of location, with the option to be based at any of our office locations across the United Kingdom, alongside flexible working arrangements.

  • Achieve sales targets (OI/Rev) within assigned territories, driving revenue growth and expanding market share in the defence sector.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key defence organizations, building a strong pipeline of opportunities across the defence and military markets.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to promote Nokia’s end-to-end solutions, aligning sales strategies with broader business goals.
  • Create and execute sales plans for target organizations, leading efforts to secure new business and deliver market-leading solutions.
  • Leverage CRM and sales tools for accurate forecasting, managing sales pipelines, and maintaining data integrity.
  • Drive successful implementation and customer support, ensuring seamless delivery of secure communication systems.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends in defence and telecommunications, adjusting strategies to meet evolving market needs.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage customer relationships, ensuring timely approvals and smooth project handovers.
  • Proven success in sales, account management, or business development in complex or regulated environments, with a track record of driving revenue growth.
  • Experience engaging with defense and/or telecommunications clients, and a deep understanding of defense procurement processes and military sector practices.
  • A confident communicator and adaptable team player, able to build trust, influence across all levels, negotiate thoughtfully, and work independently with ease in dynamic, evolving environments.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for partner collaboration and team alignment.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s is a plus).
  • Experience working within or selling to NATO or similar international organizations.
  • Existing security clearance would be a valuable asset due to the sensitive nature of the projects.
