We are looking for an Account Manager to support our growth and play an active role in our company’s development in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland), with a focus on managing and expanding customer relationships.

The main goal of this position is to grow and manage a portfolio of accounts in industries such as machine building, robotics, and automotive electronics, applying best practices in account management and consultative sales.

You will also support company development through process improvement suggestions, new ideas, and innovation proposals.

Quantitative goal: achieving individual and account-level sales targets across an assigned portfolio of German-speaking customers.

How You’ll Contribute:

• Own and grow a portfolio of accounts across specific industries and/or geographies within the DACH region
• Develop and execute account plans that deepen relationships, expand share of wallet, and secure repeat orders
• Manage the full sales cycle, from initial contact through order placement, and ensure a steady flow of repeat business
• Serve as the primary, trusted point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle
• Acquire new accounts and build a robust opportunity pipeline in target industries and geographies
• Convert incoming warm leads and develop them into long-term customer relationships
• Maintain accurate, timely, and consistent records of the sales process in the CRM system

What You’ll Bring to Xometry:

• Experience: 3+ years in sales or account management, with a proven track record of managing and growing accounts in industries such as Rapid Prototyping, Engineering, Robotics, Automation, or 3D Printing
• Account Management Expertise: Demonstrated success developing and executing account plans, expanding customer relationships, and driving repeat revenue
• Industry Knowledge: Understanding of metalworks, 3D printing, or injection molding is a major advantage
• Customer Focus: Genuine enjoyment of sales and account management, acting as a trusted advisor to customers
• Tech Savvy: IT and digitalization enthusiast, comfortable using modern technologies and software
• Adaptability: Readiness to thrive in a dynamic, fast-growing startup environment
• Languages: Fluent German (native or C1+) and full professional proficiency in English

Working Conditions:

• Sales incentive scheme / sales commission
• Corporate laptop and smartphone
• Salary structure: monthly base salary + bonus (2% of sales, uncapped)
• Place of work: Remote (hybrid - after a physical office in Sofia will be opened), with occasional international travel (Lyon, France and Germany)
• Reports to: Sales Leader
