Medium Rare Content Agency is on the lookout for a dynamic and experienced Account Manager to join our team in supporting our esteemed client, Coles. This is a 4-month contract role commencing 1 June and concluding in October 2026

This client-facing role is crucial for building deep and trusted relationships with key stakeholders. You will be responsible for the comprehensive management of business-as-usual (BAU) content streams, adeptly handling multiple projects with a calm and solutions-focused approach. Additionally, you will provide support to the Account Director and work closely with both the commercial and content teams to ensure the seamless delivery of all activities. This position demands a team player who thrives in collaborative settings but also possesses the confidence and initiative to work independently when necessary.

As an Account Manager within the Partnerships team, you will be central to managing the day-to-day operations of the Coles account. Your responsibilities will include leading BAU content workflows, nurturing strong client relationships, and collaborating with the Account Director and wider team to deliver high-quality, efficient, and timely outputs. A proven track record in client service and project management is essential, along with a passion for content and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Experience in content marketing will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain deep, collaborative relationships with multiple client stakeholders

  • Manage the end-to-end production of BAU content, from brief to delivery and post-campaign reporting

  • Coordinate ad hoc projects alongside the Account Director and content teams, ensuring timelines, budgets, and stakeholder needs are met

  • Support the Account Director in the development of proposals, content plans, production schedules and reporting

  • Maintain up-to-date production schedules and distribution timelines, keeping all internal and external stakeholders informed

  • Provide responsive and thoughtful support to the client as needed

Who are you?

  • You are an enthusiastic, proactive and self-motivated professional who thrives in a team environment

  • You have at least 3 years’ experience in a client-facing role, ideally in a content or creative agency

  • You demonstrate strong experience in managing multiple stakeholders and projects simultaneously

  • You're confident managing complex workflows with precision, attention to detail, and calm under pressure

  • You understand how to communicate effectively, present ideas clearly, and adapt as needed

  • You're highly organised, never miss a deadline, and excel at juggling competing priorities

  • You have a sound knowledge of digital and print content, particularly across owned and earned channels

  • You have a collaborative mindset and are as comfortable working independently as you are within a team
