Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is looking for a motivated and ambitious Account Manager to join our Thermo Chemical Sales team. In this position, you will be tasked with promoting and selling our strategic product portfolio in South Korea. Your responsibilities will include driving business development, establishing customer relationships, and meeting or surpassing sales targets. Responsibilities

  • Provide technical guidance to customers to enhance awareness and promote our Thermo Chemical (Alfa Aesar, Acros, Fisher Chemical, Fisher Bioreagent)
  • Drive indirect Catalog and Bulk sales through managing Tier management (including top 5 dealers) and key channels related to the Pharm Bio solvent market to expand market share
  • Demonstrate expertise in the assigned product portfolio and use advanced selling skills to connect with customers and close sales
  • Develop in-depth technical knowledge on anchoring technology products
  • Drive sales activities to meet or exceed revenue goals
  • Capture new opportunities to develop leads and sell a wide portfolio of products and services
  • Manage market performance and develop presentations and proposals
  • Prospect for new opportunities and actively managing target customers
  • Travel as required (30% or more)

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in the chemical industry, across areas such as industry, research, distribution, or relevant functional roles
  • Bachelor's degree in Analytical Chemistry or related field; or equivalent knowledge
  • Strong knowledge and experience in Catalog and Bulk Project work
  • Proficiency in understanding and analyzing technical and market information
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills (Power BI, Sales Force, etc)
  • Proficient in English communication and presentation
