The Account Manager will drive sales growth, managing and expanding customer relationships while identifying opportunities for new equipment sales within the Further Processing Business Unit. This role collaborates with regional agents to achieve sales targets, leveraging proven sales strategies and a team-selling approach. Additionally, the Account Manager gathers customer insights to support product innovation. This position requires up to 75% travel within the Central Region to engage with customers, attend industry events, and generate new business. The role also involves demonstrating Provisur’s equipment and value proposition, including ROI analysis.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage key and target accounts, conducting annual and biannual reviews to identify equipment and aftermarket opportunities, address customer concerns, and develop action plans.
  • Travel within the Central region to follow up on leads, generate new opportunities, and demonstrate Provisur equipment.
  • Expand the customer base by prospecting within existing and new markets.
  • Coordinate cross-functional activities with Sales, Service, Engineering, and Product Development to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Meet or exceed target customer visits, submitting call reports with sales opportunities and action items.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor of Science in Management/Marketing/Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of capital equipment sales experience in the food processing industry.
  • Ability to develop and execute sales strategies, manage complex sales cycles, and drive long-term customer relationships.
  • Skilled in engaging with key decision-makers, building rapport, and maintaining lasting customer partnerships.
  • Ability to present solutions persuasively, handle objections effectively, and close deals.
  • Proficiency in maintaining accurate records of opportunities, contacts, and accounts in Salesforce CRM.

Pay Range: The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full-time employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location, and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, and certifications.

$100,000 - $115,000 per year, plus commission.
