Wij zijn op zoek naar een Account Manager – Automotive Refinish (m/v) voor onze vestiging in Mechelen (Plus Paint BV).

Wij zijn dé partner voor paint, non-paint en tools voor alle bedrijven in schadeherstel, carrosseriebouw en industrie met onze Refinish lakken en aanverwante producten.

Functieomschrijving:

Als Account Manager ben jij de schakel tussen onze organisatie en onze klanten. Je beheert niet alleen een portfolio, maar je duikt ook in de data om groeikansen te vinden en processen te verbeteren.

Je bent het eerste aanspreekpunt voor operationele vragen en denkt proactief mee over win-win oplossingen. Je bent commercieel ingesteld en verantwoordelijk om resultaten te bereiken in overeenstemming met de gestelde doelstellingen.

• Je bouwt duurzame relaties op met je bestaande klanten - klantgerichtheid staat bij ons op nummer 1!
• Prospectie maakt tevens deel uit van je functie.
• Voorbereiden, plannen, organiseren, realiseren en evalueren van accountplannen en -strategieën gericht op de verkoop van het assortiment
• Voorbereiden, plannen, organiseren, realiseren en evalueren van bijvoorbeeld verkoopcampagnes en klantpresentaties
• Wekelijks verslag uitbrengen over de activiteiten door middel van bezoekverslagen
• In staat zijn om op projectbasis te werken, waarbij teamwork essentieel is
• Het leggen van contacten tussen klanten en interne afdelingen om te zorgen voor een succesvolle samenwerking op basis van de behoeften van de klant
• Je zorgt ervoor dat je op de hoogte bent van de ontwikkelingen in de markt en neemt dit als uitgangspunt om commerciële kansen te benutten
• ° Jouw werkgebied omvat regio Antwerpen, Kempen en Limburg.

Functie eisen

• Enige jaren klantervaring, bij voorkeur in de automotive/ autoschadebranche (carrosseriebedrijven)
• Je hebt interesse voor technische know-how en carrosserieproducten
• Ervaring met het opstellen en opvolgen van accountplannen en afspraken
• Een sterke persoonlijkheid met een gedreven mentaliteit
• Als Account Manager beschik je over daadkracht en overtuigingskracht op alle niveau’s
• Uitstekende sociale en communicatieve vaardigheden
• Energiek en enthousiast
• Analytisch sterk en resultaatgericht
• Brede kennis van Microsoft Office ( vooral Excel)
• Nederlandse en Engelse taal beheers je in woord en geschrift; je hebt notie van de Franse taal

We are currently looking for an Account Manager – Automotive Refinish to join us at one of our facilities in Mechelen (Belgium).

As an Account Manager, you are the link between our organization and our customers. You don’t just manage a portfolio — you also analyze data to identify growth opportunities and improve processes.

You are the first point of contact for operational questions and proactively think along to create win-win solutions. You are commercially driven and responsible for achieving results in line with set objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• You build strong, long-term relationships with existing customers — customer focus is our number one priority
• Prospecting is also part of your role
• Prepare, plan, organize, execute, and evaluate account plans and strategies focused on product sales
• Prepare, plan, organize, execute, and evaluate sales campaigns and customer presentations
• Provide weekly reports on activities through visit reports
• Work on a project basis, where teamwork is essential
• Facilitate connections between customers and internal departments to ensure successful collaboration based on customer needs
• Stay informed about market developments and use this knowledge to identify commercial opportunities
• Your territory covers the Antwerp region, Kempen, and Limburg

Key Requirements

• Several years of customer-facing experience, preferably in the automotive/auto repair sector (body shops)
• Interest in technical know-how and body shop products
• Experience in developing and managing account plans and agreements
• Strong personality with a driven mindset
• Decisive and persuasive at all levels
• Excellent social and communication skills
• Energetic and enthusiastic
• Strong analytical and results-oriented mindset
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
• Fluent in Dutch and English (spoken and written); basic knowledge of French is a plus
