About the role

The Account Manager will be responsible for maintaining and developing existing accounts within his/her geographical area of responsibility (MENA) by ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive contact, regular visits, cases support in operation room, ICU/CCU, Cath Lab, and EP lab, attendance at congresses and exhibitions as well as demonstrating strong knowledge of the product range and market place. The account manager will be responsible of developing and supporting the distributors sales force, as well as managing the relation with the distributor to ensure proper follow up with the end user and ensure adherence to forecasts and targets

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve territorial sales targets.

  • Achieve sales targets, profitability, and market share in alignment with corporate objectives.

  • Establish and nurture relationships with key opinion leaders in relevant specialties.

  • Organize and conduct seminars/events to promote BD products, that includes but not limited to Workshops, events, webinars…

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Professional Education, Clinical Services, and Marketing to deliver a high-end educational journey for healthcare professionals.

  • Ensure regular visits to all customers (hospitals, clinics, labs, etc.) tailored to the needs of each individual customer.

  • Handle evaluations and trainings with high-level clinical discussions with healthcare professionals.

  • Identify and prepare tender opportunities.

  • Monitor competitor activity and pricing.

  • Conduct distributor training.

  • Strive to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction.

  • Comply with all aspects of the ISO 9001 Quality System.

  • Adhere to all HSE guidelines and requirements.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

About you

  • Bachelor’s degree in medical/paramedical or equivalent experience required.

  • Experience working in Medical Devices industry preferred.

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Highly motivated self-starter.

  • Ability to establish and cultivate effective business relationships internally and externally.
