About the team and role

Go To Market ANZ Team

Our mission is to deliver identity intelligence on a global scale. The Role - Account Manager

In this role, you will manage and grow a diverse portfolio of customers across New Zealand, spanning a range of industries, business sizes, and regulatory environments. You will build trusted relationships, develop a deep understanding of each customer's unique challenges and objectives, and act as a trusted advisor on market, industry, and regulatory developments. Through proactive account planning, whitespace analysis, and stakeholder engagement, you will identify growth opportunities, drive retention, and deliver measurable customer outcomes. Working cross-functionally, you will coordinate internal resources to ensure customers realise value from their investment and continue to grow their partnership with GBG.

What you will do

  • Sales Forecasting & CRM Management:
  • Provide accurate and timely sales forecasting through effective use of CRM tools, ensuring data integrity and actionable insights.
  • Relationship Management:
  • Build long-term relationships across multiple levels and functions within each customer, including executive and C-level stakeholders. Develop a clear understanding of customer priorities, challenges and decision-making processes.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with Professional Services, Marketing, and Product teams to align strategies and deliver a cohesive customer experience.
  • Market Intelligence:
  • Stay updated on industry trends and the competitive landscape to identify new business opportunities and inform strategic decisions.
  • Customer Transition and Early Value Realisation:
  • Own the customer journey from deal closure through to activation and adoption, ensuring a seamless transition and effective change management. Drive early value realisation by helping customers maximise the solutions they've purchased, achieve their desired outcomes, and realise the business value and ROI expected from their investment.
