Boral is seeking an Account Manager to join our South Australian Quarries team. Based at our Norwood office, you'll be responsible for managing and growing a diverse customer portfolio across key regions including Mt Gambier, Murray Bridge and Whyalla.

You'll focus on developing long-term partnerships with customers across the civil, construction, infrastructure and government sectors, while identifying new opportunities to grow Boral's market presence throughout South Australia.

Your day will involve

• Managing and growing an established customer portfolio across South Australia
• Building strong relationships with customers in the civil, construction, infrastructure, quarrying and local government sectors
• Identifying and securing new business opportunities within your territory
• Developing strategic account plans to drive growth and increase market share
• Providing customers with tailored product solutions and technical support where required
• Collaborating with operational teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
• Monitoring market activity and identifying emerging opportunities
• Delivering exceptional customer service and strengthening Boral's reputation in the market
• Promoting and supporting Boral's commitment to safety and Zero Harm

What are we looking for?

We're looking for someone who is customer-focused, commercially minded and passionate about building relationships.

• Sales or account management experience within construction materials, civil construction, infrastructure, quarrying or a related industry
• Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
• Experience managing customer accounts and growing revenue through new business development
• A proactive approach and the ability to work autonomously across a large territory
• Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills
• The ability to manage competing priorities and meet business objectives
• A commitment to safety and contributing to a Zero Harm culture
• Experience working with government, contractors, infrastructure projects or construction customers will be highly regarded
