Responsibilities:

The Account Manager will be responsible for Integra’s Neurosurgery product line and will play a key role in strategic sales, business development, and customer relationship management within an assigned territory. This role goes beyond revenue generation, focusing on expanding the market and fostering long-term partnerships with key stakeholders.

The primary customers include neurosurgeons, OR directors, and hospital executives (CFOs, purchasing departments, and administration teams). The Account Manager will spend approximately 90% of their time in the Operating Room (OR), providing clinical and technical support while identifying business opportunities. Customer development planning (incl. sales planning and forecasting)

  • Achieve and exceed sales targets through strategic planning and execution
  • Develop and manage key accounts, building long-term partnerships with hospital executives and decision-makers
  • Expand market presence by identifying and securing new customers, including hospitals and neurosurgical centers
  • Provide high-level product and market expertise, ensuring customers are well-educated on product applications and clinical benefits
  • Support surgical procedures in the OR, serving as a consultant to physicians and surgical staff
  • Lead contract negotiations and project management for large-scale hospital agreements
  • Analyze competitor strategies and market trends, identifying opportunities to differentiate Integra’s products
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, product development, training) to drive regional growth
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies, procedures, and ethical guidelines

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience is required; business or science-related degree preferred
  • Minimum 5-10 years experience business-to-business sales (or similar)
  • 5 years surgical device or other medical sales preferred
  • Proven track record in Key Account Management and hospital contract negotiations
  • Strong network within hospital leadership, neurosurgeons, and OR staff
  • Strategic thinking and analytical mindset
  • Advanced negotiation and communication skills, especially with hospital executives and physicians
  • Leadership and mentoring experience within a sales team
  • Clinical expertise to support surgeons in the OR
