You’ll create impact by:
  • Strategic Sales Planning: Manage sales volumes and customer potential within the assigned region, utilizing CRM tools to provide accurate forecasts and data-driven planning.
  • Market Intelligence & Networking: Analyze local market conditions to identify new product/service opportunities and build a robust network of key stakeholders.
  • Proposal Management & Negotiation: Lead the preparation, coordination, and negotiation of complex proposals in collaboration with internal teams to secure winning bids.
  • Project & Commercial Oversight: Oversee the successful realization of assignments and serve as the primary commercial point of contact to ensure seamless project delivery and customer support.
  • Revenue Growth & After-Market Development: Drive regional revenue through diligent reporting and the strategic expansion of after-market business opportunities.
Your defining qualities:
  • Professional Experience & Education: 3–5 years of proven experience in product and system sales, account management, and distributor management, supported by a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (B.Eng) or Science (B.Sc).
  • Technical Domain Expertise: Strong knowledge of Control & Instrumentation (C&I), with a preferred background in process industries such as Food & Beverage, Pharmaceutical, Chemical, Petro-Chemical, Oil & Gas, or Water with coverage area in Johor Bahru and Malacca
  • Analytical & Learning Agility: A fast learner with sharp analytical skills and a proactive, change-oriented mindset, capable of taking initiative in a fast-paced environment.
  • Multilingual Communication: Excellent verbal and written proficiency in English and Bahasa Melayu
  • Operational & Digital Proficiency: Highly organized with advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word, Outlook) and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service through effective teamwork.
  • Working Location: Johor Bahru (JB) Malaysia
