As an Account Manager, your role is pivotal in driving our success by cultivating new accounts and nurturing existing ones. Your primary responsibility is to provide material handling and intralogistics solutions to our customers. Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers is essential for delivering exceptional service, fostering product loyalty, and maximizing customer retention. Your dedication to understanding and meeting customer needs will play a significant role in achieving our business objectives.
Responsibilities
· Account Strategy and Planning
o Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and expand the company's customer base.
o Collaborate with Sales Leadership on account planning and pricing decisions to maximize profitability.
o Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify growth opportunities.
· Sales and Business Development
o Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned accounts, including upselling and cross-selling.
o Take charge of all sales activities within the assigned account base, ensuring proactive engagement.
o Prepare and present proposals, contracts, and pricing agreements to clients, negotiating terms effectively.
· Client Relationship Management
o Manage and nurture relationships with existing clients to ensure ongoing satisfaction and retention.
o Collaborate with internal teams to address client needs and deliver solutions.
o Administer the process of fulfilling customer specifications, ensuring timely delivery and satisfaction.
· Reporting and Continuous Learning
o Provide regular updates and reports on account status and sales activities.
o Stay informed about company products, industry trends, and best practices.
· Perform any other duties as assigned or required to support the company's overall operations and objectives.
Requirements

· Must have and maintain a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
· 3+ years of experience within material handling or a similar industry is required.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job unless it causes undue hardship.
This position is classified as medium work, involving the operation of motor vehicles and heavy equipment, as well as movement to complete tasks or transition between work sites. Physical demands include the ability to frequently lift and/or move objects weighing up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds. Manual dexterity is necessary for equipment operation, computer use, writing, and handling materials. Clear articulation and voice control are essential for effective communication with both internal and external customers via telephone. Specific vision abilities essential for this role include close vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
This role entails working in a dynamic environment, encompassing both office-based tasks and visits to customer sites, involving regular interaction with internal and external customers. Travel to customer locations for sales calls and presentations is a requirement, potentially exposing the individual to diverse environments, including the risk of encountering harmful or corrosive chemicals if proper safety protocols are not followed. The role often involves exposure to various outdoor weather conditions. The individual in this position must adeptly manage strict deadlines, shifting priorities, and a high volume of information flow while consistently upholding professionalism. Standard office equipment such as laptops and smartphones are routinely utilized, and noise levels typically range from moderate to high.
Travel Requirements: Daily/Weekly travel to customer sites is required; Occasional travel may be required for meetings or conferences.
