What will you be doing?

You will provide data and insights consulting for a range of FMCG clients, partnering closely to understand their business objectives and growth strategies. Leading the client relationship, you will translate Circana’s data and analytics into actionable insights that drive measurable outcomes. You will manage initiatives aligned to account management excellence and service delivery, ensuring high-quality execution while identifying opportunities to grow both client value and Circana revenue. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will combine commercial acumen with analytical expertise to influence decision-making and deliver impact.

Job Responsibilities

  • Build effective plans: Develop, maintain, and execute client Account Plans to deliver growth for our clients and Circana
  • Champion Client Success: Ensure client satisfaction by proactively addressing challenges, identifying growth opportunities, and delivering consistent value. Attend and contribute to day-to-day client meetings resulting in a deep understanding of client growth strategies and 90-day work cycles
  • Drive Client Growth: Identify and pursue opportunities to expand client relationships by aligning Circana’s data and software solutions with their strategic goals.
  • Deliver Insight-Led Solutions: Translate complex data into actionable insights that help clients make informed decisions and achieve measurable outcomes.
  • Manage the Sales Cycle: Lead end-to-end sales processes including prospecting, needs assessment, solution development, negotiation, and closing.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with internal teams (e.g., Client Insights, Product, and Analytics) to deliver integrated solutions and ensure client success.
  • Maintain Industry Expertise: Stay current on trends in the FMCG marketplace and macro environment to position Circana as a thought leader and trusted advisor. Maintain positive NPS (Net Promoter Score) of 9 or above in the annual Circana CSAT survey.
  • Build Strategic Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across client organizations, including decision-makers and influencers.
  • Utilize Sales Tools and Platforms: Leverage Circana’s proprietary platforms (e.g., Unify+, Liquid Data, Intelligence Suite) to support client engagements and solution delivery.
  • Achieve Revenue Targets: Meet or exceed individual and team sales goals through disciplined pipeline management and strategic account planning.
  • Contribute to other Circana initiatives as requested by your people leader

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Management, or related field preferred
  • 2+ years’ experience in a similar role within the FMCG industry
  • Exceptional client service skills
  • Effective communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills
  • Ability to build and manage relationships
  • Excellent commercial acumen and business development skills
  • Strong analytical skills, and ability to ‘tell a story’ using data
  • Capability to plan effectively and then execute to the plan
  • Proven ability to lead self, and influence or motivate others
  • Advanced skills in MS Office (particularly Excel and PowerPoint)
