About the Role

As an Account Manager, you will manage a portfolio of accounts across a designated territory (East Midlands / East Anglia, South East and London), supporting NHS Trusts to achieve excellent hygiene outcomes with Essity’s Tork solutions. You will play a key role in strengthening relationships with NHS Trusts and Integrated Care Boards — one of Essity’s most strategic end customer groups — ensuring consistent product adoption and long-term value creation

What You Will Do

  • Territory & Account Management: Manage a defined portfolio across NHS Trusts, ensuring strong product adoption and relationship growth.
  • Sales Planning: Develop short and long range sales strategies using available sales and marketing programmes to achieve nominated targets.
  • Customer Negotiations: Lead negotiation of plans and conditions with NHS Trusts to secure sustainable and profitable business.
  • Product & Market Expertise: Apply detailed product knowledge and a strong understanding of each client’s business to deliver tailored support.
  • Customer Visits & Expansion: Introduce new products and services, organising regular visits with existing and prospective NHS Trusts to expand Essity’s market presence.
  • Service Coordination: Ensure high quality customer service and involve relevant internal colleagues when clients require additional support.

Who You Are

  • Experience in account management, sales, or business development within a complex customer environment such as healthcare, public sector, B2B, or distribution based sales. Experience in working within the NHS preferable.
  • Strong product learning agility with the ability to apply technical knowledge in customer conversations.
  • A collaborative communicator with strong relationship building, negotiation, organisation, and problem solving skills.
