What You Will Do at Aptar Pharma:
The primary mission of the Account Manager is to build, maintain and develop strong partnerships with clients while managing and growing a portfolio of mid-size pharmaceutical customers and developing business in California.
What Aptar Pharma Is Looking For:
- Manage and grow a portfolio of mid-size pharmaceutical accounts through regular meetings, business reviews, and conference calls.
- Develop new business opportunities in California, including expansion within existing accounts and acquisition of new customers.
- Secure and nurture long-term partnerships with designated client portfolios.
- Monitor, report, elevate, and develop solutions for customer satisfaction initiatives.
- Lead complex problem solving across technical, commercial, quality, regulatory, and supply topics.
- Organize regular business review, quality, technical, and other cross-functional meetings.
- Develop, manage, and leverage internal networks to facilitate resolution of complex customer discussions.
- Apply effective collaboration skills with Customer Service, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, and other stakeholders in support of customer goals.
- Prepare and monitor budget assumptions, forecasts, year-end estimates, and longer-term account plans.
- Identify and qualify new opportunities within the account and project portfolio.
- Maintain accurate master data and manage key sales data and reporting systems.
- Prepare and report relevant information in visit reports and monthly updates.
- Promote Aptar value propositions, products, and services in alignment with customer needs.
- Remain compliant with corporate policies and quality system requirements.
What you will bring on the journey
Education
- BS in Engineering, Biomedical or related scientific field, or Business Degree with strong technical interests.
Experience
- At least 5 years of commercial experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in pharmaceutical packaging, CDMO, or CMO environments.
- Proven account management experience in B2B pharmaceutical environments with responsibility for mid-size accounts.
- Strong technical understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing and regulated environments.
- Strong customer-facing skills with the ability to manage demanding and sophisticated customer expectations.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and autonomously.
- Experience working with customers in California or strong ability to develop the region.
- Strong computer skills utilizing CRM and MS Office.
- Good understanding of regulatory requirements and quality expectations.

Compensation and Base Annual Pay
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is USD $112,000 to USD $151,000 annually. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
