About Our Client

Our client is an established international company in the flavours and food ingredients sector, supporting food and beverage manufacturers with taste solutions, product development support, and customer-specific applications.

The company works with customers across beverage, dairy, confectionery, bakery, savoury, snack, sauce, seasoning, and processed food applications. This is a good opportunity for someone who enjoys B2B sales where customer relationships, technical coordination, and product development projects all matter.

Your Role

As Account Manager, you will manage and grow customer accounts in Thailand, with focus on flavours, food ingredients, and application-led customer projects. This is not a pure catalogue-selling role. You will work closely with customers to understand their product needs, identify new opportunities, coordinate internally with technical and support teams, and help move projects from brief to sample, evaluation, approval, and commercial order. You will be suitable for this role if you enjoy working between customers, R&D, application teams, procurement, QA, supply chain, and internal commercial stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop B2B customer accounts across food and beverage manufacturing sectors.
  • Identify new business opportunities from existing and potential customers.
  • Understand customer requirements related to flavour, taste profile, application, cost, launch timeline, and product performance.
  • Coordinate with internal teams on sample requests, product trials, technical feedback, quotations, delivery, and project follow-up.
  • Work with customer stakeholders such as R&D, procurement, QA/regulatory, marketing, production, and management.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, account plans, customer updates, and internal reports.
  • Monitor market activity, customer trends, competitor movement, and new product opportunities.
  • Support customer presentations, product introductions, tasting sessions, and project discussions.
  • Follow up customer projects until commercial outcome, including repeat orders, pricing alignment, and service continuity.
  • Communicate with overseas or regional teams where required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Food Science, Food Technology, Agro-Industry, Chemistry, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of B2B sales, account management, technical sales, or business development experience.
  • Experience in flavours, food ingredients, beverage ingredients, seasonings, food additives, specialty ingredients, or related food solution business is strongly preferred.
  • Experience handling food or beverage manufacturing customers is an advantage.
  • Exposure to beverage, dairy, confectionery, bakery, savoury, snack, sauce, seasoning, or processed food applications is useful.
  • Able to coordinate customer projects with R&D, application, QA, regulatory, production, supply chain, or customer service teams.
  • Good commercial sense in pricing, forecasting, account planning, negotiation, and customer follow-up.
  • Good command of English for business communication with internal or regional stakeholders.
  • Able to travel for customer visits when required.

We are looking for someone who combines commercial drive with technical curiosity.

The right person does not need to be a scientist, but should be comfortable discussing customer needs beyond price and delivery. You should be able to understand what the customer is trying to develop, ask the right questions, coordinate with technical teams, and keep the project moving.

This role suits someone who has worked with food and beverage manufacturers, understands how customer projects move through testing and approval, and enjoys building long-term business through practical follow-up.
