LOCATION - Full time employment in Tel Aviv/Bet Shemesh.

Israeli Closed-ended funds Administrator seeking Fund Accountant to manage client relationship and act as fund controller for Venture Capital / Private Equity / Real Estate fund clients.

Job Specification

• Fund accountant with primary responsibility for multiple fund relationships
• Daily Accounting: Interact with banks and funds, upload trades/pricing to general ledger system, reconcile positions/cash and resolve any break items
• Quarter-End Accounting: Create quarter-end reporting package, work papers, prepare investor allocations, review investor statements
• Year-End Accounting: Prepare year-end audit package which will help facilitate the fund’s year-end audit, assist auditor in their assessment of the fund’s control environment
• Working with various investment products including private equity, venture, real estate, loans, FX, and others.

Skills Required

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, CPA preferable.
• Experience in one of the following areas: Investment Accounting, Audit, working for either a Prime Broker, Administrator, Hedge Fund, Mutual Fund, Investment Advisor or Financial Planner
• Bookkeeping knowledge
• Prior experience with various financial products
• Strong MS Excel and analytical skills
• High level of English
