About The Role

The objective of the Account Manager is to deliver sales performance within the salads and open-field tomato portfolios in QLD and NSW, as well as managing our NZ distribution account by managing customer relationships, executing sales plans, and ensuring strong day‑to‑day service and commercial outcomes.

  • Deliver sales results for the assigned region in line with agreed targets
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and key local stakeholders
  • Manage customer orders, demand visibility, and ongoing commercial activities within the region
  • Support the execution of crop group and business strategies at a regional level
  • Provide timely market and customer feedback to support forecasting and business decision‑making

How You Will Do It

Regional Sales and Customer Management

  • Manage sales activities within the assigned region, achieving agreed volume and revenue targets
  • Build and maintain strong, long‑term customer relationships through regular contact and on‑farm or on‑site engagement
  • Support key customers with product selection, availability, and commercial discussions
  • Negotiate pricing and commercial terms within agreed guidelines

Sales Execution and Forecasting

  • Contribute to accurate regional sales forecasts through close customer interaction and market awareness
  • Manage orders and sales administration in line with internal processes
  • Support demand planning by providing timely and accurate forecasts and market information

Collaboration and Market Feedback

  • Work closely with Country Manager and Business Development Manager and internal teams to support overall sales objectives
  • Provide market intelligence, customer feedback, and competitor insights
  • Represent the business professionally at customer meetings, field days, and regional events

What We Look For

  • Experience in sales or account management, preferably within agriculture, horticulture, seed, or related industries
  • Proven ability to build strong customer relationships and deliver sales results
  • Strong customer-focused sales capability with sound commercial acumen
  • Practical understanding of agricultural production systems and customer requirements
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple customers and priorities effectively
  • Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with others
