Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing key customer relationships across the Southeast of the Netherlands. The role focuses on delivering tailored coding and marking solutions that enhance customer operations, efficiency, and overall business performance.

This is a field-based, home-office position, ideally located in Eindhoven, Venlo, Roermond or surrounding areas to ensure proximity to customers in the region

In this role, the main responsibilities are:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships across all customer levels, including production, technical services, purchasing, and management

  • Drive new business opportunities in close collaboration with the marketing team

  • Analyze customer needs and develop tailored coding and marking solutions

  • Deliver on-site product demonstrations and presentations at customer locations

  • Develop and execute account plans to grow market share within the territory

  • Lead pricing discussions and negotiate sales and lease agreements

  • Manage both short- and long-term customer projects from initiation to completion

  • Maintain accurate KPI tracking and reporting through CRM systems (Salesforce.com)

  • Coordinate internally to ensure alignment and progress on projects on a weekly and monthly basis

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Willingness to travel regularly within the Southeast of the Netherlands (customer visits; all within driving distance)

  • 3–5 years of experience in B2B sales, ideally within FMCG or industrial/technical environments

  • Fluent Dutch (native or near-native) and strong English skills; German is a plus

  • Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce, as well as Excel and PowerPoint

  • Technical Bachelor’s degree or equivalent hands-on experience in a technical environment
