Job Description


Our client is a leading multinational Mechanical and Electrical contracting company and they are looking for an experienced Account Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the reconciliation of all management accounts.

  • Review of all daily accounting processes.

  • Provide Management account reports with schedules and interpret financial information when required. Reviewing Trial Balance on a monthly basis.

  • Prepare of monthly payroll in liaison with HR before submission to management.

  • Produce Staff monthly payslips after payment of salary.

  • Monitor and focus on cash flow and predict future trends.

  • Conduct reviews and evaluations to allow for cost reduction opportunities.

  • Liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring is carried out.

  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with relevant contacts like auditors, bankers, Inland Revenue reps, statutory organizations, external auditors…etc.

  • VAT/WHT/PAYE Returns.

  • Adequately manage budgets.

  • Ensure accurate processing of payments via SAP ERP.

  • Give advice to all relevant departments on financial best practices.

  • Keep an updated record of changes in financial legislation and regulations.

  • Verify all bank charges, in accordance with the agreement with the bank and then pass for posting.

  • Monitor fixed asset acquisition and posting depreciation.

  • Creating new account ledgers and Mapping newly added ledgers to account group.

  • Creating new cost centres as and when the need arises.

  • Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.


Requirements


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree is an advantage)

  • ICAN

    or
    ACA

    certification (Mandatory)

  • 7–10 years of progressive experience in financial management or accounting.

  • Proficiency in
    SAP ERP

    and advanced MS Excel skills

  • Solid understanding of financial regulations, taxation, and corporate finance
